From a Roman kitchen to yours

Nero Pasta grew from a simple belief: good food should feel honest, comforting and worth remembering.

Its founder is a fourth-generation Italian American who spent the first twenty years of life in Rome with his grandparents. Much of his understanding of food began in his grandmother’s kitchen, where a handful of ingredients could become a delicious meal.

As often happens in Italian families, the younger generation gathered nearby, watched, helped and slowly absorbed the small techniques and instincts that cannot be learned from a recipe alone.

The memories from those years ranged from quiet meals eaten in front of the television to festive family gatherings where the table seemed worthy of an ancient Roman feast. What connected them was not formality, but the comfort and sense of belonging created around food.

Nero Pasta was created for people who appreciate good taste, clean ingredients and the character of authentic Italian cooking. Our meals are prepared with simplicity in mind, using only what is needed and allowing every ingredient to have a purpose.
